Physicians Formula Baked Smokey Wet/Dry Eye Shadow

All Physicians Formula products were on sale at both CVS and Walgreens this week. Since CVS was closer to me, I went to CVS and picked up Physicians Formula Baked Smokey Wet/Dry Eye Shadow.
As you can see, the shadows are shaped like a done and comes in a cute little compact case along with a small eye shadow applicator.
The shadows are also very pigmented! I tested it out and it has stayed on my lids for 8 hours.. yes.. EIGHT hours. Amazing!
With the 40% sale, this costs $4.79 down from their original price of $7.99.
This is perfect for anyone who is trying to create that smoeky look. Highly recommended.

Review on Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Loose Powder

After testing out PF's Mineral Wear Loose Powder for about a month, I've finally decided to write my review.

First off, this product comes in a little nice dome shaped packaging. When you take the lid off, you'll see the attached brush. Underneath the brush, there's a layer of protective covering which will help prevent any spilling when you throw this into your purse. A lot of added security huh? Perfect for any female who's on the rush like myself.
Personally, I don't like the brush that comes with this. It's great for taking it out but if you're doing makeup at home, I suggest you use your own powder/kabuki brush. The bristles are a little rough and isn't very soft. It might be good for smaller areas you might need to cover up but for an all over face coverage, use your own brush
I apply this powder after I apply my foundation. It really helps set the foundation in and gives me a nice flawless look. I've noticed that after using the powder, my face isn't as oil as it used to be which is a definitely pro. This powder also contains SPF 16 so you won't feel as guilty if you ever forget to apply your sunscreen.

Cost: About $12 but CVS has those occasional buy 1 get 1 50%
Recommended? Yup

Physician's Formula Concealer Stick

Shade: Fair

I recently purchased the Physician Formula Foundation (Classic Ivory) at CVS and it had a little gift attached to it. Yep.. you guessed it. It was this concealer stick.
So they had one w/o the gift too but if you were in my shoes, which one would you pick? Depends I guess.
But anyway.. the prices were the same so I picked the concealer one to try out.
Let me begin by saying that I love this concealer. I know most of the concealers out there are a bit oily but this one actually isn't. It works well to cover up minor imperfections as stated on the packaging. I would apply my foundation and then use this concealer to cover up any dark spots I have. Sometimes I'll also use the Mineral Wear Loose Powder to finish it off. (I'll do a review on that later.)

This will costs you around.. $6-$12 I believe. I'm not sure what the exact price is because like I said, this came free with my Mineral Wear Foundation. I actually bought the Mineral Wear Loose Powder plus the Foundation together for around $18. If you go to Wal-greens, its only $6.50 or somewhere around there. (Check out their website) To get the better deals, wait until there is a sale.. and look in your local ads!

So would I buy this again? Definitely! I think it really makes my skin look better and covers up anything I don't want to be shown!

Thanks for reading this and please leave any comments.

Physician's Formula Talc-Free Mineral Wear Review

Physician's formula Talc-Free Mineral Wear Foundation.
So, what's the purpose of leaving the talc out? Well.. one thing is when you apply this, it won't give you a cakey look as oppose to other foundations that contains talc. It also reduces irritation and breakouts on your skin.
This foundation comes with an antimicrobial sponge but for my preference, I like to rip it out and use my own foundation brush. This works well as a concealer so you don't have to buy another product for concealing. It covers up my dark circles really well and gives it a nice flawless finish.
As for the price, its usually around $11-$12.. around the price of most foundation.
Check out CVS this week.. they're having a sale where you can buy one for regular price but get the second for 50% off. Rite-aid and Duane Reade also offer these type of sales regularly.

So do I recommend it?
Yes. Especially for Acne-Prone skin like myself.
I use Classic Ivory.. the closest match for my skin. But I'm sure Natural Beige,Sand Beige, Creamy Natural, etc will suit you better.

Any questions? You know what to do :D

I figured I'd start doing reviews on beauty products such as hair tools, makeup, etc.
I won't update that often but do look for my posts from time to time.
